Membership is open to anyone who agrees with our purpose, as stated on our By-laws:
"To be a leader in the orderly growth and development of Frederick, creating
economic opportunity and enhanced quality of life for the citizens of Frederick!"
All members in good standing may include "Member of the Frederick Chamber of Commerce
and Industry" statements on their stationary, business cards, advertising, etc.;
and are encouraged to proudly post their membership seals on doors and windows.
WHY SHOULD YOU JOIN THE CHAMBER?
Here are just a few reasons why YOU should be a member of
the Frederick Chamber of Commerce:
When people call the Chamber looking
for a specific service or product,
we only refer Chamber members.
Getting involved in the Chamber helps you
meet new people, gain new customers, and
"get the word out" on what you do.
The Chamber's monthly newsletter and twice
weekly radio show help you stay up-to-date
on what's happening in Frederick and the
Tillman County area.
-Publicity, Advertising, and Recognition
Chamber members can spotlight their
business/profession by sponsoring Chamber events,
having ribbon cutting or Open House, and by
advertising in Chamber publications. The Chamber
can help you inform people about the variety of
products and services you offer.
The chamber maintains a list of current Chamber
members and shares this information with new people
moving into the area, visitors, new businesses, etc.
